It's Brother's birthday, so it's time to try some place with meat and beer. How about a German restaurant since I won't be going to Germany any time soon?
Found Wilder Mann off the internet. Looks affordable. But they don't do pork knuckles on weekends. Tried requesting for it and they were so accommodating. Yay!
We ordered:
Cream schnitzel - I think this is the Sahne-Schweineschnitzel mit Kartoffelsalat, which is Traditional Breaded Pork Loin topped with a home-made Cream Sauce and served with Potato Salad.
Beer-battered mushrooms
White wine fish: Fisch in Weissweinsoβe, which is Pan-fried fish served with home-made White-wine sauce and Potato Salad.
Cajun-Cream Chicken Chop

Which actually just tastes like luncheon meat. Too salty to eat like this.
 |
| Sausage Platter |
This one is decent.

| Pork knuckle $36 |
First time seeing it so watery and with caramelized onions. Still good, nonetheless.
 |
| Sauerkraut |
Great for clearing the jelatness.
 |
| Potato Salad |
How wrong can potatoes go?
 |
| Our beers |
Of course, this is the best cure for jelatness.

No service charge and GST! It's very affordable, if you can resist the drinks. But, what would be the point?
