とんびCame across raving reviews for this dorama, which follows a man's journey of single-parenthood with his son. 常盤貴子 acting as a mum! It's the touching, family kind, quite different from the genre I usually watch. Maybe the first and last is ひとつ屋根の下. No harm checking it out...
The father is an idiot who's still shy among his family. Funny while you are watching it as a third party, but I think I will be friggin' frustrated if I were his family. Now I know why 常盤貴子 could allow herself to play a mum... her character died young.
It also helps that there's a cute guy in the show :P
