She wanted to try a restaurant opened by one of her suppliers. With her vague directions, nobody will be able to find the place.
Don't believe me?
Ok, try "restaurant near Aljunied MRT"?
We got the actual address after Mother went to recce and we googled the restaurant name.
So, only Sister, Mother and I were in the cab. We gave the cabbie the address and he claimed to know the place. Well, as usual, Mother insisted on giving directions, and refused to let the cabbie drive us to the correct road. She made him go to the end of the adjacent road, where Aljunied MRT is and said we can cross over to the correct road from here. Yeah but, the road ends here, and she does not understand when the cabbie said he could drive us over...??? I know she knows the walking route, but now we have a CAB, so why still walk????? I know she's not the one pushing, but still...???? Ok nevermind, the meter is ticking, don't want to spend time
So Sister had to push me along an extra 150m, of which a part was not very smooth. Not a place for powered wheelchairs.
Yes Natural is different from the other vegetarian restaurants we have visited, because they place more emphasis on using healthier ingredients and way of cooking. Think stuff like adding black rice into chendol.
They do still have mock meat dishes. Ok lah, edible lor.
Very difficult to get a cab back. On the way back, Mother was lamenting to the cabbie about children nowadays being rude to their parents because is no longer part of the syllabus. And I also don't know the cabbie was just entertaining her or what, he sounded as if he believed her "news". Somewhere along the way, Sister got asked if it was true, and she replied that it's true that there's no more 好公民 from secondary school onwards.
Technically, she's right, because it's called CME mah...
Then those 2 auntie uncle started blaming the government for everything... haii let them be. Just roll eyes.
