It is a strawberry mousse with pistachio centre. I never imagined that I would choose a strawberry cake. So pink and so not-me.
I realized that the pink bits trace the shape of Japan. What a patriotic cafe!
To prevent the cake from collapsing when being cut, Sister flamed the bread knife before cutting it. Cuts cleanly now!
Very delicious! Even X, who doesn't like dessert, took a second helping. The cake is really petite, but it's good that we can finish it in one sitting, no need to keep.
